Aylon Berger

Aylon Berger is Co-founder and Editor of TheMove. In this role, Aylon helps set TheMove's editorial direction and expansion strategies. In addition, he authors each issue's opening section.


Aylon comes to TheMove with a background working in politics. From 2017-2018, he was an aide to Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill's campaign. Prior to that, Aylon served as the National Chair of the High School Democrats of America. He has also held internships on Capitol Hill and at a political consulting firm. Aylon has been recognized for his work in Democratic politics, including being named a "rising star" by the New York Observer in 2016. In 2018, Aylon was included on InsiderNJ's list of the top political operatives in New Jersey under 35.


Aylon is student at American University, where he serves on the school's Kennedy Political Union. A native of Northern New Jersey, he is passionate about good brunch and is always looking for a tennis partner.
