On one end you have your typical Georgetown-esq vibes with cobblestone roads and brick storefronts with Warby Parker, Anthropologie, and Lululemon - nothing D.C. goers are new to. But venture a few blocks further and you are back to the authenticity of Virginia with mom and pop shoe repairs, bike stores, and bars that have been around for over 30 years like Hard Times Cafe - this is Old Town Alexandria.


On King’s Street, the main avenue, you will find storefronts providing you with bookshops, salons, and cool cafés like Misha’s or Killer E.S.P (Espresso, Snacks, and Pie). All the while, you can be heading towards The George Washington Masonic National Memorial, tying together a great D.C. monument with old school Virginia charm.
