TheMove started as a small idea that was sent out to 50 close friends of the Founders. Nobody expected it to reach hundreds of people on the first release.

Gradually, the readership expanded to an incredible amount of people. The Founders knew that, with the increase in subscribers, they needed to adapt to make the newsletter user friendly and relevant to all.

As time went on, a new logo was created, additional staff member were added, and TheMove continued to grow its readership, organically. Once the readership expended beyond American University's campus, TheMove was contacted by restaurants all over Washington, D.C. requesting a visit to dine with them.

TheMove slowly become connected with the event coordinators all over the city requesting their attendance.

In January 2019, TheMove decided to take it online to give their readers easy access to their articles. In the first 24 hours of the website going live, TheMove hit 3,000 views.

With a new site created, a new newsletter format, and more additional staff, TheMove became a fully functioning company.

The story has more to come, all with your support. TheMove wants to thank you for continuing to read our publication. None of the success that TheMove has had would be possible without all of your help. We hope you enjoy what lies ahead.
